Orientation: On the morning of August 17, our school field at SMP Merdeka was filled with vibrant red and white decorations. The entire student body and all the teachers gathered to celebrate Indonesia's Independence Day. Various traditional games were held, and I decided to take part in one of the most popular ones: the sack race.

Event 1: After registering, I grabbed a burlap sack that the committee had prepared. My heart was pounding because I wasn't very confident in my jumping ability. I saw my friends, including Budi and Siska, also lined up at the starting line. The atmosphere felt very competitive but was full of laughter.

Event 2: The whistle blew, and we all started hopping as fast as we could inside the sacks. Some friends next to me immediately stumbled and fell. I, myself, struggled to keep my balance. I fell behind quickly, while Budi shot forward. He looked so agile, while I was more often wobbling.

Event 3: Budi crossed the finish line first, with a big smile on his face. We all cheered enthusiastically for him. I arrived a moment later, exhausted but very happy. Although I didn't win, I felt proud to have finished the race and laughed along with the other participants.
