Budi mengatakan, pihak kepolisian akan memastikan kegiatan sidang praperadilan Rizie Shihab berjalan dengan aman dan tertib.
Aparat kepolisian juga akan memastikan tak ada gangguan terhadap aparat PN Jakarta Selatan dalam melaksanakan sidang praperadilan Rizieq Shihab.
Jumlah aparat yang mengamankan sebanyak 1.610 personel.
“(Sebanyak) 1.610 personel gabungan dari TNI, Polri, dan Pemda disiagakan untuk pengamanan sidang praperadilan besok di PN Jakarta Selatan," kata Kepala Divisi Humas Polri Irjen Argo Yuwono, Minggu.
Menurut Argo, personel yang diturunkan juga bertugas menjaga kelancaran arus lalu lintas di sekitar pengadilan.
“Pengamanan mulai lokasi sidang hingga pengaturan jalur lantas,” ujar dia.

Rizieq Shihab's attorney admitted that he did not have any special preparations to face the first trial of a pretrial lawsuit.
