"Yesterday is my father’s birthday and been 6 years since he passed away and not a day I spent not missing and thinking him.
He is the one who taught me to be independent, resilient, compassionate, with grace and attitude. Today I very am at peace knowing that I always strive to be what he taught me to be.
I remembered I was so full of ambitions during school and college, nailing dozens of achievement to the point he always responded “I know you can do it. You always do.” It was an outcome cause he kept challenging me to break boundaries. No, not for the prize, not for the title, not for actualization. But because he know world wont be easy for me, for women. The last thing I remembered he said to me before he passed away - “I won’t stay forever in this world guiding you, so you have to be able to do this alone”. He really did never handing things easy for me.
But life - he taught me - is much much bigger than a block of black and white, good or bad, win and lose. It is about how we really use ALL the effort, blessings, achievement, to do good for other. It is never about me or my name. It is about the dynamic of life and how can we impact others. “The more important thing is you have to know when and how to lose, in order to win. That moment the win is not just for you. But for all of the people, the value, and the mission you fight for” *
