Album kedua mereka yang bertajuk Science & Faith dengan single "For The First Time" , "Nothing" , "If You Ever Comeback" , dan "Science & Faith" diliris pada tahun 2010.

Album kedua mereka juga cukup sukses dengan menempati posisi satu di Irlandia dan Inggris, dan menempati posisi nomor tiga di tangga lagu AS.

Album ketiga mereka berjudul #3 dirilis pada tanggal 10 September 2012 dengan single utama "Hall Of Fame", di single yang satu ini The Script berkoloborasi dengan musisi Hip-Hop/R&B AS, Will.i.am yang sempat menjadi rekannya sebagai mentor di acara The Voice UK.

Musik mereka telah menjadi fitur banyak acara televisi diantaranya 90210, Ghost Whisperer, Waterloo Road, EastEnders, Made In Chelsea, dan The Vampire Diaries.

Sang vokalis Danny O'Donoghue sempat menjadi salah satu dari empat mentor bersamaWill.i.am, Tom Jones, dan Jessie J dalam acara The Voice UK season 1 dan 2 namun berhenti dengan alasan ingin lebih fokus pada bandnya.

Dikutip dari wikipedia, Danny O'Donoghue dan Mark Sheehan telah berteman lama sejak mereka berumur 12 tahun.

Mereka berdua dibesarkan di Dublin, Irlandia. Sebelum The Script, Danny dan Mark aktif sebagai anggota dari grup boyband yang bernama Mytown, yang dibentuk pada tahun 1996.

Keberhasilan Danny dan Mark dalam menulis lagu dan bekerja sama dalam produksi membawa mereka ke Canada untuk berkoloborasi dengan penulis lagu dan produser musik papan atas diantaranya Dallas Austin, Montell Jordan, dan Teddy Riley. Setelahnya mereka tinggal di Amerika untuk beberapa tahun.

Mereka Tinggal di Los Angeles, dan bekerja disana sebagai produser, menulis dan memproduksi lagu-lagu untuk artis papan atas seperti Britney Spears, Boyz II Men, dan TLC.

Setelah beberapa tahun di Amerika, mereka kembali lagi ke kampung halaman mereka di Dublin, dimana mereka merekrut Glen Power sebagai drummer untuk band baru mereka, The Script.

Terbentuklah The Script dengan formasi Danny O'Donoghue sebagai vokalis dan kibordis, Mark Sheehan sebagai gitaris, dan pengisi backing vokal, dan Glen Power yang mengisi drummer.

Pada tahun 2005, band ini terdaftar di label Phonogenic, dan merilis EP mereka di Last.fm. Lalu pada tahun 2008 mereka meluncurkan The Script, album pertama mereka.  (*)
